About the Event

The Metals Recycling Confex MEA returns to its in-person format! The event to be held 15 March 2023 is part of the 3-day Confex comprising Metals, Paper and Electronics & Battery Recycling (14-16 March 2023). The conference provides regional and global market insight to delegates from throughout the MEA region and beyond.

The conference builds upon the series of successful recycling conferences co-organised by Waste & Recycling MEA magazine and the Recycling Today Media Group from 2012 through 2016, and the International Recycling Week Virtual Conference organised by Waste & Recycling MEA magazine in 2021.

At the conference, organized by Waste & Recycling MEA in association with Recycling Association of Africa (RAA), a unique programme that allows participants to select the topics most interesting to them. All sessions feature prominent industry figures and essential insights, along with networking opportunities that will enable the metals recycling industry to strengthen existing business partnerships and form new collaboration to unlock value across segments and drive sustainable growth.

The event has 2 main conference tracks – Metals and ELV Recycling. Each track will witness keynote speeches, panel discussions, presentations, tech talks and more.

By combining the best aspects of a Conference and Exhibition, the event delivers unique value in the form of industry insight, networking and a look at technology and solutions. This creates a powerful environment for industry suppliers, traders and all other stakeholders to leverage sponsorship and exhibit opportunities to drive their brand’s visibility and reach. Delegates can register for one session, or the entire event.
